Allan Tetrault Biography

You only have to look at one of Allan Tetrault’s paintings to know that in addition to a great eye for color and an almost photo-realism technique.  He uses his love of Florida to inspire each of his works.  The themes always express the same meaning, “Life in Florida” and hold a realistic quality that is astonishing.

 

Allan didn’t always live in Florida, but spent two week vacations there regularly.  Thirteen years ago he realized that he could fulfill his dreams, leave New York, and live in a tropical paradise off the West Coast of Florida.  He has not been disappointed yet.

 

Life in Florida is what motivates Allan’s work.  Palm trees abound as he creates his images of the local Flora and Fauna.  Diving in the Gulf of Mexico and in the Florida Keys opened another world of wonder to him as he began to paint what he saw beneath the surface.  His renditions of underwater scenes capture your attention with their vibrant colors and detail.  He has painted portraits of his musical idol Jimmy Buffett that can be seen hanging in Buffett’s Key West and New Orleans Margaritaville Café’s.

 

Allan now resides in Seminole, Florida, a peaceful town off the West Coast of Florida.  His home is filled with his breathtaking creations that include, in addition to his paintings, carvings of the Tiki heads, fish, and portraits he has burned into wood.

 

Leading a happy life and fulfilling his dreams as an artist in Florida, Allan Tetrault is a true inspiration to us all.
